Santiago's research interests focus around the creation of visually striking media, paradigms, and novel tools to allow users to engage+explore scientific data. He has collaborated with research group's around caltech including Biology, Geo-Physics, Planetary Science, Fluid Dynamics, Aerospace, and more. He co-teaches a class in Data Visualization every spring at Caltech. He is also a co-mentor on the summer Data Visualization Internship program, a joint effort between Caltech, JPL, and Art Center.
